Noel asks who on the wings would take box 23 and only two would. Carmel's sister says she shouldn't take box 23, but Carmel says it's due for a double.

8-box offer was close to the FD and given her financial situation, no problems with the deal there. Turned out to be the right thing for her as she'd have needed to go to the end to get more.

I don't blame Carmel for dealing when she did at all, as given her financial situation and recent Banker stinginess she would've had to to leave the £35k or £75k to the end with a five figure back-up (an 18% chance) to get significantly more.

Also, I highly doubt the final offer would've been as much as £5,000, as the Banker hasn't made an offer above the Fair Deal in live play since Mario's game (and even then the offer was just £60 above it).

A board that was quite stable throughout but losing the top two early meant the offers were unlikely to soar before 2-box.

Carmel did the right offer for herself and in the end only lost out on a bit more.

I liked Dave's trumpet solo but the bit with the woman in the audience dragged on a bit.

Didn't see the show, but sounds like a fair enough result.
