He is a retired car mechanic

We see pics of Arthur's late wife, friend and another with his mum

His mum wrote to royalty in 1945 and it was replied to, Noel reads out the reply from Buckingham Palace

We then see another pic of Arthur's family

Housekeeping is done and we are off for Arthur's game

At 88 years old, Arthur is probably one of the oldest people to ever play the game. He seems like a fun character, so here's hoping he takes away a nice sum of money :smt023.

Yup. Though Walter is still currently the oldest player. In fact, I think he's the oldest player to play a British game show
