Sorry, it's hard to be nice when good offers are dismissed like they're nothing.

There's either Nothing or Half in Box 23. We need to rub some salt in the wound that is idiocy.

That was lucky. I still think that is a failure game. Me and Mark's didn't want that. She was lucky.

Sorry guys, that had to be said. The 23k was generous and she should of took it. She was GREED and stupid.

I am sorry if I have annoyed anyone.

I'm usually happy when a game is saved by the appearance of the +£10,000 in Box 23, but in this case, I'm not because the player was very greedy throughout the game.

Sorry about that.

I have to say there's a part of me that says Melissa you were very very very lucky that Box 23 saved you I'm sorry with that gameplay it didn't merit it at all but there is another part of me that applauds her at the same time because if you wanna win the big one you have to go for it in the way that she did torn after that now there's only 6 chances for edmondo prophecy to become reality

I think the 5-box no deal was just about justifiable given that any finish with the £250k left was going to give a generous offer given Melissa's attitude.

Was no-dealing £23k at 4-box greedy - possibly not given it was likely she may have got a 3-box offer had she kept the QM in play (which kind of makes the offer button a bit superfluous).

It did feel the kind of game where you were pleased the £10k was in Box 23 though.

Makes you wonder what the point of the offer button is really when the banker phones up with his 'extra' offers even if you don't activate the offer button!

Unfortunate result, but Box 23 bailed her out, so good for her. :smt023

I thought you liked it when players went all the way? Considering the hard time you used to give them when they should have... ;-)

I agree Melissa's attitude to the game was a bit one-sided, and she did set herself up for a big crash, but she did at least seem happy to take the risks she did, and I guess it is attitudes like that which can bring the big money wins we all like. Hopefully the +£10k in the box - whether we think she deserved it or not - means tomorrow's player won't show too much knee-jerk caution.

Ha! When Murrcan Coupon Kid has the moral high ground, you know that some people have completely lost their marbles.

It's a game show, it doesn't matter at all. What difference does it make to you whether some cashier from Illfracombe or some candlestick maker from Tooting accepts some money or not on a game show?

You mean the guy who declined over 90% of the mean? That one still leaves me fuming!
