I don't think a 5-box deal would have been that bad today. Just unlucky with the proveout.

A understandable deal by Joe. Nothing wrong with taking that DEAL. He was very unlucky in the proveout. So it wasn't his fault the 250k was left till 2 box. He deserves the money. :smt023
It wasn't cautious understandable. :smt023 Well done Joe enjoy the money! At least it wasn't a blue win.

Just unlucky to keep the QM on the wings to the end. If he hadn't he'd have probably had got £2,300 at 2-box and then possibly have halved it at the end.

ACB it was an understandable, he was unlucky in the proveout. I am happy that he won £13,000. I always respect the contestant's decision. That is the main thing.

The £250k staying to 5-box meant the offer would have gone up by a little, especially as it was propped up by the £10k. I was surprised when Noel said it would have gone down.

Joe was unlucky to have the top 2 isolated so early in the game, and the all-blue round just before 8-box probably got him thinking that another round missing the top 2 was unlikely. I definitely wouldn't call it an easy mega win squandered; the 5-box offer was dealable and the board was volatile throughout (plus I think £90k was inflated anyway).

Interestingly, the 8-box board was very similar to Donna Rampton's from all those Decembers ago. Thankfully we were spared a repeat of what happened there.
