Interesting that Noel should indirectly refer to Geordie during the game but not to the other person to use the system - Doreen from 2009 (OK she went in the other direction but still...) - and then Graham goes on to win the same amount she did!

If Graham had gone in the opposite direction he'd have had the £50k backed up by £10k and £15k, which may have been enough to push him on to 2-box anyway (or deal a similar amount in the last round if he had the button, which may have also led to a BG).

I'm wondering if he was bumped up the playing order after his comments yesterday (although he was on the radar anyway) - fortunately it paid off either way! Enjoy the money Graham.

WOW, a FAR more complex Power 5 win than yesterday's to say the least! :smt103

Graham made utterly terrible inconsistent decisions at 5 box and 4 box (No Dealing over £10,000 above the Fair Deal and then dealing nearly £2,000 below the Fair Deal! :smt011 ) but, thanks to the Banker's Gamble (which was well pitched for the circumstances without hindsight), he was able to make for it and then wom in one go. :?

That's also the first time since June 2010 (Cheryl's game) that a player has benefited from dealing the Banker's Gamble.

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.
