I'd say I'd guess they ran scared of legal action if it ended up as a zero win, but they leave themselves all the contractual room they need to change the rules of engagement at any time.

If only 23 wasn't there, we'd have had a straightforward classic game in its own right, and now it's almost overshadowed!

I still think the most deserved jackpot win still belongs to either Nong or Roop.

Arguably, the only reason why Ann won the jackpot was because she erroneously pressed the button. I doubt she would've turned down the £40,000+ she would've been offered at 4 box AND the final offer thereafter which probably would've been more than £64,000 given the path to it.

Also, had this version been like every other version of the show with a Deal button, she would've lost the lot on Box 23.
