Think the move is to specifically play for the 5-box offer here...

The players seem to have been (possibly coincidentally tbf) very reactive to previous games so far, with blue wins followed by early Deals followed by another blue win...

Stevie says he's seen some horrible games and it's time for someone to beat the banker in a big way. Brian says the offer's not good enough. Joseph asks about what regret would be better if he plays on.

Stevie says he promised his fiancee that they'd finally get married after years of being engaged if he wins big.

Stevie says

NO DEAL

Perhaps it's just me being picky, but does anyone else find a lot of the offers in the reboot are very 'ugly' numbers, as if it's just come from a calculator and been rounded to the nearest 10/100? The offers in the original always seemed to be 'tidier'/rounded to the nearest 250/500/1000.

We do seem to have had a lot of awkward offers like that in a way the Edmonds era didn't seem to have, even when those offers in the last few seasons tended to be very obviously formula-bound (they stuck really closely to FD for most of the game most of the time)...

Wasn't Jennifer the first player to be in the chair having not been one of the opening 22? Quite the good omen for Stevie if I'm right about that...

My favourite is back :D

ONE blue at five box :D

The reason why I love it so much? Just the ONE blue, and a very high chance of a red...

It's the fact the 10% disaster chance still leaves a £10k-high 3-box and a £3k-ish bailout that drives me on here... certainly wouldn't argue with anyone who went "job done" at that.

Might as well push on to 3-box. Worst case scenario he's probably guaranteed an offer of £3/3.5. And he's a lorry driver so he's probably minted already...

Stevie says even the worst result next round would still leave the £10k on the board. Stevie's fiancee says she doesn't know why 13's unlucky for him as it's the year they got together

Jamie says he's got a bad feeling about his box 22 and Stevie says it's his fiancee's birthday! Brian tells Stevie to really think about it.

Stevie says

NO DEAL

15 - Sophia - £25,000

4 - Chaniece - £1,000

Banker time with £750, £10,000 and £75,000 remaining...

All he needed was to find one of the bottom two with not-£75k, and that's all he did ;)

Stevie says this never happens to him as he's just a boring truck driver! The banker asks what holiday they'd go on and Stevie and his fiancee say probably Spain for eight or nine of them.

The banker says this is enough money to do that twice.

BANKER'S OFFER

£24,600

Is that worth turning down with a 2-box offer to trust?

Final offers could be as high as £5k/£35k/£40k... yeah nah, I'm out.

Stephen says that would be the biggest win of this new series. Stevie says he could have £75k in the box. Reece reminds Stevie of his family and how much that money would do for them.

Stevie says

DEAL

You cannot argue with that! :D

Had the backups to chase to 3-box and then got the reward and took it :smt023
