Well that's going to set up some aggressive play early next week I fancy, if players are going to react to what they last saw?

Whew, what a game!

I see Stephen has picked up an Edmondo trick holding the phone to his mic when The Banker's laughing 49k is a bit steep mind

Stevie says he knew it but it's fine! Stephen says the banker's won again but Stevie's won £24,600.

Box 2 with Rochelle contains the £10,000

I think 99.9% of the population would have dealt at £49,000 had that actually been the offer in LIVE play!

The big question is, would he have gone for it if he had no deal, with a 100% guaranteed £10,000? I mean extremely very brave as he was at no dealing £12,300

Love ya, mate :D

Didn't realise Stevie wasn't part of the starting line-up, wonder if the ''friendly walk with Olga'' played some part in the early selection?

I find it hard to believe £49,000 would've been offered. It's 115% of the mean!

I reckon the C4 Banker would've offered about £35,000 - £37,500 or £40,000 if he was really feeling generous.

And the reason I love ALL RED 5 BOXES is because the very high chance of a red is so high it’s guaranteed :D

Great game by the way. Can’t think of anyone* on here that would’ve won £75k

*Unless Mark would’ve

No way £49,000 would be offered at 2 box just another way of the show to guilt trip the contestant.

After some sad games this week, we needed a game like this, a positive one to boost people's moods and spirit.

Stevie, nice chap, took some risks, in terms of gameplay wise, probably the best game we've seen in the Revival.

Enjoy the Money. :smt023

Just what we needed after yesturday's game. :-)

£24,600 was a bit too easy of a Deal at 3 box, Banker easily could've paid out at least 5k less there. Still way better to see that kind of mistake than the Banker going too low and the player crashing. :D

Fantastic game and exactly what we needed after yesterday!

However... the taste was soured somewhat by the absurdly inflated 2 box offer. Seriously, what is with this whole 'let's offer several grand over the mean in proveout' trend we're starting to see? The exact same point would've been made by saying it would've been the mean of 42.5k only it wouldn't have been a blatant lie.

I suspect there are budgetary constraints for the offer to be that high while in-game. The £49k proveout offer is so high that it's either fake, the new Banker is incompetent, or there was a risk the series would have gone over its allotted budget if the £75k was won.

The 3-box offers appear to be there to stop the player from reaching 2-box with two high reds. The extra offers are fine for a test run of 20 shows and helps with the pacing, but take a lot of the excitement away and makes the game unnecessarily easy for the Banker.

They could make it work by offering the swap most times and only very occasionally making it an offer.

We have yet to see the Swap or No Swap if there actually is such a thing in this series. Perhaps if the last 2 boxes are £100K and a low blue? :ponder:

Yes, I'd noticed the lack of swap offers too! Though so far everyone that's played to the end has had two blues and the atmosphere was very deflated, so it makes sense that they might not want to 'rub salt in the wound' by adding a swap decision in there.

If someone plays to the end with at least one red still in play and no swap offer comes it's a safer bet it's gone from the series entirely.

Finished catching up, think this is the biggest win yet despite the fact he could have had the second-highest amount in the game.

I thought about the swap… they didn’t tend to offer it on blue/blue or proveout scenarios without a big one in play in the old days, will be interesting to see if they do in a more significant situation. The hypothetical offers need a bit of work though, it took them a while to be realistic in the original C4 series but they got there eventually.
