Thank goodness she dealt, as that round would've been horrible to have in live play.

Excellent for the £100,000 going :D

Now will she be extremely very brave for box 23?

Tough call this. Top of the game being £6,500 - it's tempting to go for box 23.

Fair result from a reasonable deal.

Now, what will Box 23 have to offer?

DEAL.

MONEY BACK is very anti-climatic after that build-up. :?

Has there ever been a player who staked a red on Box 23 and had MONEY BACK? :ponder:

I can't remember.

Well at least Box 23 didn't wreck a low-tariff game but a positive outcome would have been nicer.

Steph and Lucky from May both risked £1,000 on Box 23 and it contained MONEY BACK for both of them. Also, Michelle from June risked £1,800 in Box 23 only for it to have MONEY BACK after having similar uncertainties as Dana.

Good thing Dana was one of the players who were wiling to Deal a siginifcant sum with the intention of risking it on Box 23, for if she went all the way she probably would've swapped and won 10p.

Noel, players are not buying Box 23 with five figure sums because they are SENSIBLE. ;)

Totally with you on this. Ali's game was a £20k box win after some brave decisions and all Noel can do is lament him for not buying 23. Such a shame.

'Welcome back' to the seventh person ever to join this site - the man, the myth, the legend, greeny! Fantastic to have you back with us. :P

I, too, was out at £5,000 at five-box, as Benjamin probably imagined at the time... :smt023

Onto Dana's game and it was one of those frustrating ones where she seemed to hit a big red every time it felt like she was getting somewhere. Still, not bad offers for the board throughout - the £5k at 8-box was worth considering as you'd need to keep both the top 2 in for the offer to increase with any significance. The £5k at 5-box was a good bailout too, following a below-par round and with 3 of the bottom 5 still there.

Is that the first time we've had box 23 in a kid's drawing a player has brought? I really didn't think she was going to take it, and while it would have been nice for her winnings to go up, in all honesty I was just relieved there wasn't a blue in there as, after a game like that, even halved winnings would have hurt. Well done Dana.
