Statistically, if you are assuming the 2-box offer is going to be at least £26k and possible 2-3k more, then there is an argument for the 2-box deal (especially as box 23 reduced the disaster scenario from 33.33% to 26.66%). I'd have taken the 3-box offer myself but it certainly wasn't the worst statistical decision we've ever seen on the show.
