Mark, for the 1,000th time, this is Channel 4 were watching, not a 2006 repeat on challenge. :roll: ;)

Given that +£10,000 was in Box 23 yesterday, I can't see her going for it

Fair enough result from a half-reasonable deal. :smt023

I think todays game had to be the most obvious QTT deal in the history of the show.
And box 23 is as I suggested previously there to rescue the blue finish player. Quite why Noel persists with this banker's fear of the player taking bix money doubling it on box 23 isnt backed up by the evidence of previous games. How many people taking a very cautious safety first offer will chuck it away on box23. As this game showed.

This.

In the 200+ games since Box 23 was introduced, only 1 player who has dealt at 8 box subsequantly risked their winnings on Box 23 (and even then it was just a mere £1,800). In fact, only 2 players who dealt at five box risked their winnings on Box 23 (Matt, whose game I had the privilege of commentating, and Dana). Unless the worst case scenario for Box 23 changes to 10% or Quarter, I don't see either of those numbers growing much.

I think she did a good deal. The 15k wasn't a massive difference. It was an all or peanut gamble. I hink she wouldn't take winning a blue well. So a good show.

QTT? What is it with you wacky kids and your acronyms?

The number one definition on UrbanDictionary states that QTT stands for Quality Talk Time. With 13 thumbs-up we can all agree that the definition is credible. When in doubt, always consult the UrbanDictionary.

...wait, what in the flying f**k is a ''Quality Talk Time Deal''?! :smt105

QTT = Quality Thinking Time

Noel usually asks contestants if they want it when making their decision at 8 box, and Noel usually insists on it even if the contestant says no. :smt011 Also, it's really an illusion, as breaks in the studio are just a mere 30 seconds.

People didn't enjoy this episode then? After the week we've had of gambles not paying off, a player being prudent on a risky board and only going one round too soon isn't a bad result really. Certainly better than another crash and burn. I missed the show but I'd say the 8-box offer was arguable either way, and Peggy did get her decision validated in the end.
