£1,500 is a lower percentage of the average than the £700 offer. :?

I think I'd take £1,500 to Box 23.

I'd go on. £1,500 isn't much to me.

Tom says he likes box 23 because it's saved so many games. Lucy says it's really hard but she'd deal now. Paul says he'd carry on here.

Tom says

DEAL

Understandable deal. It's better to have £1,500 for Box 23 than 50p. ;)

Connor encourages Tom to take box 23.

Tom says

DEAL

He returns his £1,500 winnings.

Noel gets Connor to open box 23 because of the advice he offered.

The result is

HALF

Tom's winnings reduce to £750

The banker rings and congratulates Connor!

Unlucky there, he couldn't do much about that. The only people who wouldn't have won a blue would of been cowards in that game. Very unlucky. Sorry Tom, I hope you don't have regrets.

An unfortunate result there, but £750 is better than nothing. :smt023

Did anyone notice the new titles today?

I wasn't sure but I compared them to yesterday's and they're definitely different - the music has more bass, there are more visual effects and there are clips of the banker's chute and the offer button.

and yet again the influence of a big money win in this case Mandy's 50k win yesterday is washed away one day later but it could have been worse it could have been 25p

Half unfortunate result from reasonable calls. Hopefully he won't have too many regrets. :smt023

A cautious deal at £8k could have been said to wash away influence of Mandy's game too, could it not?

Probably depends more on how Tom took the result - if he took it well, the players may not be so inclined to be cautious, unless they weren't going to be big risk takers anyway. If he took it badly, they might be more inclined to deal earlier, not that that's always a bad idea!

Sounds like the sort of game where the bad luck was confined to two rounds - and there's not a lot you can do with bad odds. Still, I think we've had £750 offered on a £5k/low blue finish before, so it was a tiny victory in some ways...
