Joseph says you should never risk your dreams and he talks about everything he's gained on the show.

Stephen opens Joseph's box 8 and reveals £75,000

Cost of living has killed this show. They all turn into cowards once they get a sniff of 10k.

We need a 2023 reincarnation of Khanny to spice it up again.

Had he been in live play at two box (clearly not, he would have dealt £28.000) then with £25,000 100% guaranteed, extremely very brave? That's a yes from me as I would be.

£75,000 win denied :(

Joseph blows the lid shut!

Box 11 - Carol - £25,000 completes the game.

And.......they get another cautious player to play when he's picked out a big amount ;-)

We had that yesterday with Rochelle. :)

£13,900 was a great offer at 5 box, and without the benefit of hindsight that was too big of a gamble for a family man like Joseph to take, regardless of the general economic state of the UK. ;)

Would have been a £2,000 and £75,000 final two in truth, he wasn't openlng Box 16 was he? Never liked proveouts.

Think he made the perfect decision there, you can't base things on hindsight I think that was a good offer at 5 box and would have done the same thing. Its a lot of money for people.

That was a big gamble, if Joseph no dealt that, because he has a family to provide for, so he's got to think of them first, and that money will go along way to his family and the future.

Well done Joseph, you made a great decision in dealing there, better to have dealt and missed out on big money, than no deal, and crash!

Wouldn't have materialistically changed the game as the £25k would have remained to 3-box with it being the 20th box opened and then the last offer would still have been about £40k AMO, and no sign of anything to do with a swap. :D

But yeah you are right about 16.

Always better to have too much luck than not enough, and Joseph did, indeed, have too much luck.

Can't argue with his gameplay decisions, to be honest I think anything short of an 11-box Deal or a 2-box No Deal and I'd have said the same thing actually because all of the three offers in between were defensible either way in this offer meta? "If in doubt, Deal at 5-box" is probably one of the better oversimplifications a player can take to the chair, and one I've argued for in the past is "Deal the second offer you're not sure of," so needless to say I approve of how Joseph actually played this and it got him a five-figure win :smt023

Sometimes I wonder in this new version whether the banker actually knows where the money is (as is in the case in some international versions), as consistently offering AMOs at 2-box clearly makes no sense in the long-term, unless perhaps it was a double-bluff knowing the values!

Regardless, I expect the banker will have to alter this “wild” strategy somewhat if it comes back for an extended run, this was probably a £10k payout in the old version, but you could see the average approaching that of the original with a particular cast of contestants and this strategy continuing with luck balancing out a bit more.
