Box 3 with Shirts Brian contains the £1

Ryan says he feels emotional and Stephen says he's finished on top.

I'm generally pro-contestant but you don't go trying to find the big money after the deal. But it's another reason why I'm struggling to be into these new run of shows.

(Also no chance of a swap either if you have feelings about a box you can't get rid of it).

I wouldn't be entirely convinced that any contestants who had ideas about where they thought the big money was, in the original run of the show, would have played on as if still in live play either, to be honest! And why would they? If you've dealt, and you reckon the big number is in box 11, of course you're going to select number 11...I know we're British and we love a bit of gentleman's-agreement-unspoken-rule-following, but I find it difficult to believe that even a majority of players who dealt were not actively seeking the higher amounts in the proveout rounds. As humans, we are literally wired to do whatever we believe to be best for ourselves! (Within reason, of course).

Anyway, what a great game. This was the first in-play offer that I've seen and thought was actually fair for the board. A sign of things to come, one hopes! :D

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I'm taking it you haven't been watching many games then, as that offer generosity (60% of the average at 5 box) is pretty standard for the ITV Banker. :eyes: ;)

Oh hang on I'll go back through the last week or so and read through the reports again, look I'm getting old, it's not my fault if I can't even remember as far back as yesterday's show! :P

Nobody seems to have a system here which would stop you intuitively trying to find the big money after you've dealt (yeah you have a point Daniel!)

Another great result for a great player, keep 'em coming!

Ryan immediately picking the box he thought the 100k was in did bother me a little- after all, you are meant to play on exactly as you would if you'd said no deal. But as pointed out, there are loads of contestants who almost certainly didn't do this in the original run of the show and we just never knew about it.
