Rickie says it;s unreal money.

Stephen says let it sink in, as the jackpot on the board is now £50,000 and the reality is it's in one of the three remaining boxes, but it's the box he's owed and deserves.

Kristian says Rickie has already been brave, and it's a serious offer he should consider.

Rickie says he had a target of £10,000, but thinks there's £50,000 in his box.

Stepehn doesn't think there's been a player this series so adamant about the amount they have in their box.

Rickie's ready..

At £14,880, it's...

 NO DEAL

ROUND 7

Nobody in the studio can believe that.

Stephen says that Rickie is a player who has played the game impeccably well.

Rickie wants to go for Luke, with Box 15.

Luke with 15 - 50p

Highest the Channel 4 Banker has gone on this finish is 26k (June 2015 Joan's game), but I think that is about to be topped. :eyes: :eyes: ;) ;)

Stephen says we should sit down for a sec!

Rickie says he can't even tell us how much that would change his life.

He's ready for the question.

Stephen wants to finish the game in pure style and reveal £5,000 in Rickie's box 11.

BUT, Rickie has been adamant all along he's got £50,000!

Rickie's Box 11 - £50,000

Here's one situation you kind of wish the banker didn't make 2-box AMO's. Low-mid 20s would have a tough decision there. OH well highest win of the revival!

£50,000 winner denied :(

If he had been reminded what he had yesterday, he may have gone for it but then again, I doubt it very much.

Nah, it's not worth the risk. You're gambling £26K for an extra £19K!

Surprisingly enough the 3 times this finish came up on the Channel 4 version the person playing presented themselves as a major OHO and the Banker offered £25,000 two of those times and £26,000 the other time.  :eyes: :eyes: ;) ;)

And one of the players, Ben from June 2009, revealed it is was all an act afterward and easily dealt and spanked the Banker, producing by far the best game from a namesake of mine. :-D :-D :eyes: ;) ;)

What a game, Rickie did a little better than Rochelle at just over 30 grand last series. Should’ve believed to the very end that 50 grand was in box 11 on £31,111 is excellent. Congratulations Rickie, biggest winner since the Mulhern era begun.

That said I was shocked he turned down the 3-box offer so the banker HAD to go big to reward his courage. Just not THAT big. ;-)

Talk about a grand finale to the week! I was shocked when he no dealt at both 5 box and 3 box, but it paid off in style and we officially have our biggest winner of the new series! Very well done Rickie!

(Though that final offer was utterly insane even by ITV banker standards!)
