Kristian talks about the board. Ronnie tells Kristian to think seriously about the offer because he won't see that offer again if the £25,000 goes. Stephen goes back to the link to box 18. James says he would play on, but only Kristian can make the decision. Kristian says he's inclined to go one more round.

Kristian says:

 NO DEAL

Kristian says it's his highest offer, and it's more than what he wanted. He says the last offer was a lot harder.

Kristian says:

    DEAL

£25,000 winner denied :(

If he had no dealt, with 1p still there, would he have been extremely very brave and go for it?

Kristian says it was too much of a risk to carry on.

He should have asked for the Bankers Gamble... then he may have got the offer, which he didn't didn't think anything about it.

I think my/our generation are too grateful - we need a bit of fire in the belly, a little bit of the arrogance that the middle-aged folks are so expert at, a touch of spice. A bit of something.

Anyway, that's a nice chunk of cash in the back pocket for Kristian and Craig! And well-earned too. Love to see a partner who's supportive of whichever choice the player makes, and actively tries not to encourage them one way or the other; that's how it should be. :smt023

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

That's the third 'power 5' amount to come to the table in just four games! :O

Definitely can't blame Kristian for dealing there - even with a banker that loves to make absurd offers at 2-box (£14,100 was ridiculous even by his standards!) It was too much to risk with a 1/3 chance of disaster.

Useless fact: he's the first contestant on this version to win an amount in the 7-8k range.

I think the only time we will see a Bankers gamble is when there is only the £100.000 and a very low offer left.
Maybe, and I repeat maybe, as a surprise the Banker may offer the gamble when it involves the £75.000 and a low offer.

This version of DOND doesn't even offer the swap so I can't imagine the Banker's Gamble making an appearance ever.
