John's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel welcomes us to the dream factory, and talk about how the crazy chair has affected the last 2 contestants!! He gives advice to the contestants to not get carried away with how much money they would like to win and just play the game in front of them

John has box 21 today. Noel asks if there is a touch of the Japanese in his family as he bows lots of times while taking the walk of wealth!! John is a retired driving instructor and Noel says he bets there are lots of amusing tales to tell, John then starts a story that doesn't really have any point to it! Noel asks if there is anything exciting or amusing in his life, and John replies no not really! Noel then says lets make this one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to you!

Round 1
John asks the pilgrims to cheer the blues, and boo the reds!!
Den is chosen first and she has a go at Noel!!! Poor Noel can't get a word in!!!

1 - £50,000 Boos from the pilgrims
8 - 1p Big cheers for the penny
15 - £20,000 more boos
22 - £1,000
7 - £3,000

The banker nicknames Den - Dragons Den!! He also says he thinks he has a lot in common with John as he has a naughty schoolboy twinkle in his eye… He then offers £10,002… The offer is Ten to Two, referring to John's driving instructor background. John asks Noel why he hasn't spoken about his choir background, and Noel asks is John going to be the first contestant to sing all the responses? John sings NO DEAL

Round 2
14 - 50p BIG CHEERS
3 - £250,000 BIG BOOs
John says he expected that, as that's the way his luck goes!! Phil shouts out there are still lots of the power 5 left and Noel calls him over to talk to John.
11 - £100,000 BIG GROANS AND MORE BOOs

Extraordinary to take out the £250,000 and £100,000 back-to-back says Noel. The banker calls and says he really enjoyed that round, and he really likes John as he's also been divorced and that was some of his most interesting times as well! He then offers £2,500… Phil gives another positive speech, and then John calls out box 5, and Noel asks John's grandson to come down and run through the rules of the game with him! John sings NO DEAL

Round 3
Blue chants start
5 - £75,000 The chants turn to groans and boos - Noel tells John he is the first person to ever take out the top 3 values all in a row!!
19 - £250
2 - £5

John's grandson reminds John that was 3 boxes and its time for the banker. The banker says this is now one of his favourite games of all time! He then offers £5,000… John says it’s not bad considering the state of the board, and his grandson says it is, but he thinks there is another round in the game… John says NO DEAL

Round 4
20 - £1 Newbie Jenine
10 - £50
Blue chants start
13 - 10p BIG CHEERS for that one

John says he is feeling better now. Noel asks him to sum up his game in one word, and John replies maudlin. The banker asks if John's choir sing when the saints go marching in, they do. The banker says that if John takes this offer he will play that song at the end of the show... He then offers £6,500… Jackie tells John that he still has lots of good sums on the board and to get into gear and start motoring. John says NO DEAL

Round 5
16 - £100
9 - £750
Noel tells John that he has now had 7 blues in a row, and the record is 8, so John could equal this now.
12 - £10,000 Boos for that one

The Banker offers £10,000. We are right back to where we started now says Noel. John says it's a good offer, and it’s a DEAL

The banker calls back before the proveout round, and says that John asked if he would get a bonus for taking out the 3 highest amount in a row, and the banker is now going to honour the bonus by playing "when the saints go marching in" by his choir at the end of the show.

17 - £15,000
18 - £500
4 - £5,000 There are shouts of YES from the pilgrims!!!!

It’s time for The Banker with £10 and £35,000 remaining, and he would have offered £15,500

Noel opens John’s box 21 and reveals £10

Box 6 contains £35,000
