I forgot to mention that yesterday marked 15 since the beginning of the LIVE SHOWS. Not only was this 2 weeks of special one-off games that were played live, but a lot of past players (including some from the early days of the show, such as 50-shows Lucy and Marcus) returned to the wings for these shows. Until this point, it seemed like they were doing whatever they could to keep season 1 buried in the archives, but just a few weeks after this, the CHALLENGE repeats started from season 1 began showing, and videos of Season 1 games started reappearing on YouTube for the first time in years

Lynn's game was a great one to have as the first too - a game that looked set to be a trainwreck but turned around into a 14k OPW.

For the ITV version, two years ago Mike won £5,950 but in an absurd fashion. That £5,950 offer was on a finish of 3k vs 7.5k!

21 years ago today, Mark played on show #2 and scored an OPW after dealing at an offer of £9,900 on a £500/£20k


20 years ago today, another contestant named Mark also scored a healthy OPW, but in the form of £23,500!


19 years ago, Little Rich had a comparatively average game, by dealing at £3,000 (which was increased to £4,000, as a result of him succeeding at the Trick Or Treat twist), and was denied a feel-good ending by hypo-swapping for £10,000


17 years ago, YET ANOTHER Mark played on this date, but curiously, he went by the name of Roli on the show. He played in an isolated "regular" game sandwich by the Trick Or Treat specials, and the 4th anniversary show the next day, and it was a pretty disappointing game, as he dealt at £7,000, but had £50,000 in box! I think the only memorable thing about Roli was that he was one of a handful of contestants to disappear and re-appear in a different wing position.


16 years ago, Christine dealt at £18k, but missed out on doing what Christopher did in live play a few games earlier, by having the £50k/£100k finish!!


15 years ago, Jess dealt at the third offer, but i forgot what she won. This is the point where the games start to become a bit of a blur for me. Sam played on this day in 2012, and i forgot what he won, but didn't he teach himself to speak, as he had some kind of hearing difficulty?? Georgie played on this day and 2013, and then Ruby in 2016, but i forgot what they both won too.
