A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I think that was possibly the best song from
Bunney so far, worth seeing the repeat for!
I'll join as Ryan was a great contestant, and a statistician
who helped the other players with some great advice because
of his knowledge of the odds.

What a great game! Ryan rocks, and that OPW was sheer perfection.

It's really weird...throughout November and December 2006, we didn't have a single Sunday OPW. All the players (Kelly, Mary, Tony, Anna-Marie, Ingerlise, Adie, Claudine, Wendy, Alfie) either dealt too early, dealt too late, or in Anna-Marie's case opened their box to reveal something lower than their highest offer. And this month, every single Sunday game (Laura, Jennifer, and now Ryan) have all been huge OPWs! I dunno, you wait ages for one and three come at once!

I think it might be repeated on More4 at 6:05pm tonight, but More4 can be really odd with their scheduling sometimes so you never know.

I just found this!

Quote:
In May, 2004, 23-year-old Leeds University graduate, Ryan Hall, was left with a fractured skull and a clot on the brain after an unprovoked attack in Sheffield city centre.

On the 21st of May, 2004, Sheffield Today reported thus:

"The bruised face of young graduate Ryan Hall bears terrifying testimony to the brutality of Sheffield's street thugs. The 23-year-old is slowly recovering from brain surgery after being mobbed by two men he didn't know in the city centre.

Doctors feared at one point Ryan would die from a fractured skull and clot on the brain which left him needing surgery...

His dad Steven is just happy to see him alive. Steven, of Mansfield Road, Intake, Sheffield, said:

'It was touch and go for a while whether he was going to pull through, but he is 100 per cent better than he was before the weekend...

I obviously want the people who did this to him caught, as this should be seen as attempted murder'...

Leeds University graduate Ryan was knocked to the floor and kicked unconscious as he waited for a taxi in Eyre Street after a night out with mates...

The two attackers were Asian and aged between 18 and 21."

No MP mentioned this incident in parliament.

Hi, I've been lerking but had to sign up and post just for Ryan.

I've had a crush on him since he came on the show, so yesterdays show was just great for me! ;)

I too found out about the disguting attack that happened to him mentioned in the post above and was shocked and enraged that such a nice man could get beaten up and left for dead by such scum.

It make it even greater that he has moved on and his furture looks bright with such a good brain on his shoulders (not to mention the sex appeal!)

Well done to a really nice person.

:D
