Here's the first of the three shows I promised you all.
Wakey, SrWilson, and daniel123 will each play one game of Deal or No Deal. All three games were set up using my board game; my brother sealing up the boxes, and handing them all back on the board - he is the only person who knows what is where.
I decided to adopt the role of the Banker; my aim being to take the players just as seriously as any other contestant, but at the same time trying to make them break - which you will see in each of the games.
Wakey chose box 18.
Round 1:

No Deal."
Round 5:
2 -
50p - 5 straight blues
6 -
10p - now SIX straight blues; is he actually about to get that all-red Final Five?
21 -
£15,000 - "Acceptable."
Near enough perfect round.
Now here's where if I was the Banker, I would make a really tempting offer for both his bravery, and also to test his so-called defiant No Deal stance.
Banker's offer:

Wakey said that there was no way the offer would be anywhere near that high, and expected about £30,000. I mentioned Daz's game and how he earned an offer of £45,000 but he dismissed my comments by reminding me that Daz had a fallback of £50,000.
However, he said
Deal. He justified his decision by saying that if the offer was £5,000 lower, he would have played on.
WAHEY!!! But did I, as the Banker, pay too much for a lower value box? Or did I make probably one of the biggest ever risks and it paid off?
Round 6:
17 -
£1
20 -
£3,000

- have I actually stopped the unstoppable?!?!?!?!?
15 -
£20,000 - OH MY WORD!
Wakey wasn't very happy ("Oh fat f***ing hell!"); I was creasing with laughter!!!
I first teased him that I would have STUCK at £50,000 - but eventually revealed what the hypothetical offer would have really been.
Banker's offer:
£95,000
Stats (2 boxes left:)

He said he would have played on.
And in his box, box 18, was...
£10,000!!! DANG!!!
Box 5 contained the
£250,000.
So I don't need no statsman to sum up that one: a TPW! He beat the Banker, but could have won a lot more if he had the nerve to call the Banker's bluff.
