Small change to this game this week! KP will be this week's guest banker! :D He will be taking charge of the banker side of things. He will be the one making the offers this time; he will post each offer after I post each round. He will also take care of negotiations, for which the rules remain the same: At most once* per game, you may PM KP with what you think the offer should be. If KP accepts it, that is your new personal offer. If he rejects it, your offer will be reduced by 10%.

* American Coupon Boy was awarded a bonus negotiation last week. It is up to him whether he uses it this week.

The best way to think of things is that I am Noel and KP is the banker. :D As such, you will still tell me of your deal decisions. The vast majority of them have been posted to this thread, except for a handful which were handled via PM after a negotiation. If you negotiate an offer and wish to accept it secretly, please inform me and not KP. Otherwise I might just kick you out of the studio! :P ;)

To better line things up with KP, rounds will be posted at 12 PM UK time (or, on my end, 7 AM EDT) instead of midnight. Thus, the first round will be posted in 12 hours from now, and decisions have to be made by noon the next day!

See you in 12 hours! :smt023

(Also, my current schedule of guest bankers is:

Week 6: daniel123
Week 7: American Coupon Boy
Week 8: box11
Week 9: Archstered
Week 10: hogwild94

If you wish to be a guest banker sometime, let me know and I'll schedule you accordingly!)

Since a good board reader like KP would never offer the £10,000 I would need to Deal on this board, I'll say NO DEAL in advance. :smt047 :-D

The delay in the phone call came from a celebration. There's a day-long festival right outside his front door, all the sport is going very well, and then this board!

There will be challenging offers, though...

Banker's offer:

£6,000

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Just out of curiosity, can a guest banker Deal their own offer? :ponder:

I'll say no (though KP has no knowledge to the outcome of the game).

The question is how much to react to the £100,000.

The answer?

Banker's offer:

£5,500

Wow, half the average at the 2nd offer is very generous. However, I came to play the game, so NO DEAL.
