Don't you feel the quailty of TV programmes these days is rubbish. to much reality based programming, and if any series has a glimmer of decent ratings it goes into its 8th and 9th series plus.

and there is to many soaps, an average evening has 3 hours worth, with them being repeated no less then twice a day..

just dont think we get value for money, and i am only glad i am not house bound, as the television certainly wouldnt entertain or inform me anymore what do you think ?

Yeah about 90% of what's on telly is crap...

and also think 90% is a little low, maybe 99.9 is better, it is easier to list what is good on telly, then having to trawl out all the dross.

we need classic shows, and classic hosts and yes, nearly everything on telly now is boring , TV used to be great, What happened?

While the domination of sport by SKY can be held up as the reason why a lot of the sport on "normal" TV is crap - It is the bloody BBC and ITV that has fallen away badly when it comes to what used to be called light entertainment. Some of the stuff they commission is light years away from being mildly interesting..... how much did Davina cost?

Having the generation of 70's and 80's politically correct students getting into positions of power in the BBC and making decisions about what is humour and what is entertainment does not help.

How good is the current level of decision makers in the BBC and ITV

They are the folks who had the opportunity to buy Deal or No Deal from Endemol and failed to do so.

Daytime television is rubbish it would be better if they just displayed a blank screen (Jeremy Kyle do I care about 'Your friends my mums wife' )
