i think it goes like this thre are six of you and you in turn get a general knowledge question you have to convince the others that you are giving a right answer when in fact it is incorrect the one that does this most convincingly goes through to the next round. The final is from Wembley. The winner gets one million

Total rip-off of "Beg, Borrow or Steal", a show shown on BBC2 a few years hosted by Jamie Theakston.

Courtesy of the Digital Spy Forum:

Six contestents get asked a series of multiple choice general knowledge questions and answer by pressing keys on a console, earning money for each correct answer.

Their answers are kept secret, and at the end of the round they only know their own individual scores.

If they believe they are at the bottom of the leaderboard they have the option of "folding" and leave with their money.

However, the object of the game is to bluff your opponents into thinking you did very well, hoping that they will fold instead.

If nobody folds, the person with the lowest score goes home with nothing - hence you're gambling that your bluff works.

One contestent is eliminated in each round until there's just a head-to-head.

The winner of each show takes £50,000 into the live final which will air on Sunday 16 July.

For a while it was known as The Con.Test, to avoid people thinking it was a poker show, before ITV decided it wasn't that big a deal.

I'm definitely giving this a go, I think it'll be rather entertaining.

To me, it sounds less like Beg Borrow or Steal and more like the middle part of the Dutch DoND expanded into a show in its own right.

I really enjoyed that! The beginning was a bit slow, but I guess that's to be expected...I was so glad when Oliver folded at the end, and the DOND addict in me was comparing it to a £16k offer with a 1p/£50k final two. :D

Absolutely fantastic. No wonder the format's been sold to America before this one even aired. Can't wait for tomorrow. I wonder how the final will work?

I sensed the contestants were less cautious than most DONDers, in particular the round when nobody folded when they all stood to lose £10k+.

I guess there's the added element of competing against others and a refusal to accept you may be the "weakest link", unlike DOND when you're playing basically a game of chance only for yourself against the Banker and just about everyone else in the room wants you to leave with a decent amount. It's probably harder to back down in that situation.

It's quite an interesting show after watching yesterdays. It is a little bit refreshing after watching lots of DOND and Price is Right because there is no other gameshows on

The only problem with The Enemy Within is that it was too easy for the Enemy, who had no incentive not to simply play as a straight quiz. His/her winnings should have been five times their total, so that he/she does profit from correct answers (because answering too many correctly is such a risk in that format).
