One letter?! Hehe... you mean the letters that you write into the show? I've never seen it.

Ok I admit it, I wrote to Jim'll Fix It as a child in the 70s but no response!
Supposedly they are to track down some of those who did not get on the show all those years ago and give us our original request, even if we are now considerably older, well according to that link anyway! This begs a question though! Like me, I would guess that most people have moved house a few times in the last 30 years, so they might have a difficult job tracking us down!!
I can't remember what my request was, I think I wanted to meet Slade, or maybe to meet Noel Edmonds, the most popular Radio 1 DJ at the time, who knows?! Well I'm going to watch some DOND shows in Bristol soon so don't worry Jimmy ! ;)
Is anyone else going to confess to having written to JFI as a kid?!
Come on own up you know you did!! :-D

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Dan, it's not surprising, it finished ages ago (don't know when) and you were born in 1994! So I never saw it, either... I was born in 1987... when did it actually finish? I just looked it up on Google and one website says it finished in 1994, but then it says Jimmy Saville stopped presenting it in 1985?!

Hi H

The series between 1975 - 1994

I loved watching Jim'll Fix it - would be interesting to see some of the "fix it" children now, over 30 years on in some cases.

Did it really finish in 1994? I thought it was before that... anyway, even if I did see it, I can't remember it! :D
