In Season 1 it was £250 - I think it had the lowest average win of any box value at the table, possibly excluding the 1p, and nothing higher than £11,000.

In Season 2 it appears that disease has been passed to £500 - four players (Lindsay, Jo, Katy and Peter) have won it as their box value, and the earlier Peter has been the only one to sell it for more, but even that was only £3,500! At least, unlike £250, nobody has swapped it for something lower (or dealt for anything lower with the £750)!

Mmm, although £250 hasn't really redeemed itself - it's only appeared once this season, with Shell, who sold it for a so-so £10,000.

On the basis of yesterday, it definitely hasn't!

Also something I noticed - anyone who's won £250 by opening their box, or by swapping (or indeed anyone swapping it away) - has had another blue left at the end, usually a very low one!

Hahahaha...does Ned's £15k now count as the biggest win with a £250 box, or not? Because he had £250 in his box...but he didn't...but he did....argh.

It should count just the same as if he's swapped at the very end, so he had become the highest winner with £250 - but it still sucks becuase he could have had £75k!

I really though Maggie had outdone Irene and John G and let £500 catch up to £250 by swapping it for a fiver. Thank god it was the other way round!
