I am quite surprised nobody talks about this box, since this box has been generating quite a buzz whenever it's on the table.

It seems that even on an outright banker win, Box 22 quite often brings big monetary wins or bank offers (such as Kirsty, Lance and Claudine) when brought to the table.

Out of 16 players who have carried this box to the table, the average win is just below £29,500, with three of these winners being in the top 10 (Claudine, Lance and Kirsty).

Two of these 16 have swapped away this box at the end (Khanny £5 for £5,000 in Box 8 and Connell £10,000 for 1p in Box 7). Interestingly, these two contestants represent two of the bottom three in winnings out of those who had Box 22 (Bianca won £2,000 with Box 22 on the table).

Six of the contestants have had peak offers of £60,000 and above. Three of these contestants brought the £250,000 to the table, and that represents the most common box to have the £250,000 on the table.

Also, this box on the table is the only to have generated the final two of the 1p and £250,000 (in Debbie's game).

Has anyone else noticed the power of Box 22 on the table?

I posted a Box 22 fan club up just after Claudine's game based on those facts, but I think it was in the "Contestants" forum! :)

Even Noel has mentioned the power of box 22 in the past - when I think there was a period box 22 coming to the table rather often (twice in a row sometimes, I think) and it often contains big money and / or helps to generate big wins, as you pointed out. I think there's also some superstition about 22 - as Noel said - meaning that it is a powerful number... on the other hand, you could always take Sarah H's advice and say that it simply looks like 2 ducks!

And box 22 is by a mile my least favourite box. But I fear the 250k may next be brought to the table in 22, which would be truly awful.
