Yep, Gary's game on the 27th February last year was the first to use the coloured labels.

Highest third offer is Paul H's £40,000 on the 20th February this year, which he dealt.

Highest fourth offer in play is *still* Brenda's £57,000, 9th February (why are they always February?) last year, which of course she dealt.

Hgihest fifth offer in play is £64,000, which Jeff got on the 25th October last year. He dealt at that.

Lol, then the shadow effect was in Eileen's game (#205), I thought I was seeing things myself...

It's a cubiod block underneath the value, I think this is the longest lasting box value, if you count the games in season 1 (Eileen to Giorgio... even though the boxes were wider then...)

Surely we are to see a new change to the values again, not just to change the appearance but refresh the whole thing...

I reckon they'll stretch the values a bit so the font is bigger, or just make the font bigger in general. The PEANUTS font was quite large if I remember correctly.

I remember when the label fell off Sam's box. That was hilarious :D

Yeah, the values then switched from magnetically stuck to the actual box, or glued on to a bit of white card the same width and depth of the box, which then attatches to some velcrow. The occasion where the value fell of Sam's box was when the values were magnetic. Considering that Sam's box was the last one, it was left hanging there for the whole of the game! If it was loose, it would fall off.

The stands on the 3-D values were glued onto the stand, and the stand was stuck onto card. This is evident in Sally's game, where Noel takes the 1p out of the box a big sheet of card came along with it.

When the brand new 3-D effect labels came out, Endemol had a shortage of velcrow which means that some of the values ended up hanging out of the box when opened, this is very apparent at the end of Bianca's game, when Buddy opens his box to reveal £1,000.

Nearing July, the values aren't ever hanging out of the boxes to the point you could see between the card and the box.
