Newbie from Yorkshire, be gentle lol

Hi all, frequent "guest" to your site but taken the plunge and registered :-D

Not sure what boring stuff to write BUT, am 41 years young and love the programme. So much so that I've tried often to get tickets to be in the audience without success.

However, the other day my long suffering g/f took a call from a producer (think the name was Phil?) and he said he would email me with all the details. So far I have had no email

and now the g/f is wondering if it was a hoax call. We've booked time off work so I hope not. And I can't see how I can get in touch. Hopefully the email will come soon as I can't wait to see this being filmed. Plus, since the call the g/f has been driving me daft chanting "blue blue blue" at any possible moment :twisted:

Yeah, I got the email application form and sent it away ( got it through this site :-D

) I thought it would be a good birthday pressie for the g/f as she's addicted to it and the filming would be the day before it, fingers crossed.

Do you usually get a phone call to confirm then an email? A few days apart?

I rang the number that Suezan gave me and they are resending email. Now I'm getting excited, hehe. It's been unusual watching DOND since being told I could be in the audience, I imagine it must be surreal watching programmes after you've seen them being filmed?

Awe, am not sure if I qualify as being a Yorkshire man yet as I've only been here for 3 years. Originally from Central Scotland and now living in the picturesque town of Goole (well, someone has to) :shock:

can I just add that I've now got my email about being in the audience so buy now getting travel/hotel/parking sorted lol
