to be honest i think the east and west wings and the bankers should be able to and they should have a life line so you can only ask your friends/family once.

If friends and family are there to support you in the first place, that doesn't seem politically correct.

What's the point of that? :? The whole point of DOND is that it's an "open" type format and you can ask whoever you want, whenever you want for advice.

I agree with the lifeline option. It will certainly make the show feel less 'easier' and adds the serious atmosphere that millionaire and duel give for example.

As well as saving many games from disaster.

what it is on some shows they are umming are r-ing for 5-10 mins on some .and that adds up.sometimes added up they are thinking about the offer for 15 mins in total.and sometimes they ask there friends/family at the second offer and they know they are going to say no deal dont they?so that waists time.etleast if they has a lifeline they would consider it,they know there not gonna say deal,if they want to say deal ask friends then say deal not asking on 1st offer then second then third ,cant they make a desision.........its plain silly!

Again. So what.

They can dither for 10 hours for all I care. Its all cut out of the final show except for a few minutes here and there.

If its a problem for you sat in the audience don't go watch.

Of course they should- it's the players fault if they go along with it and listen. It would of course be nice to see a player with a mind of their own now and then instead of having everyone succomb to what the others tell them to do, whether that be a deal or a no deal.

And if there's a big gambler and s/he's told to stop and he ignores them and s/he wins 1p?

Well I suppose they were true to themselves, as Noel would say.

well said, why not just select stronger minded contestants who confidently play their own game be that dealing/no dealing?

Have to say that Friends and Family SHOULDN`t be there to help in the game. I appeared in the very first series and nobody bothered much with things like that as Endemol rules were pretty tight and seem to be more relaxed now.
I didn`t have anyone with me, I applied for the show, I got through my audition on my own not with my friends and family. so again NO xx
