I think after today's game the subject really needed to be brought up.

No, it's up to the players whether or not they have relatives with them, not the audience.

However, I think that they should only give advice when asked for it.

Nope, stupid idea in my opinion, they are there for support and bring the players back to reality!

The reality that they will only be there once and never ever be able to win £75,000 again in their life. They were so lucky to come on the show after being filtered through hundreds of thousands of players that after being so lucky to be chosen, such opportinuty of winning £75,000 cannot possibly be squandered.. except for the relative they aren't even a contestant so they don't realise that the contestant is so lucky to be there and think it is perfectly right to deal paltry sums such as 5 grand when lifechanging sum(s' in Donna R's game  ) that will likely never be won again are still on the board :x

Ok im just going to say this, Kens game for example! In the final round there are 3 boxes to open, eliminating 3 sums of money. With the board Ken had, dont you think there may be..i dont know a big chance of removing the £75k, then what..Nothing! Just cause you would be happy to go away with 1p doesnt mean other people would! Maybe Ken needed the money! You need to realise that this game is for REAL money and not to just say, oh wait ive got £75k on that board if i no deal it will stay there!

Believe me, i would love to see somebody no deal and go for the life changing money. But (unlike some) i would love even more to see people win money that could change there lifes! Just because you think the power 5 are the only life changing money doesnt mean other people will see that! In my case, £10,000 would be life changing for me!

No, this is a silly idea! Imagine the people that are terrified and need their family for support!

If Danielle hadn't had her mum with her, she'd have slipped from £45,000 to a £1.

It's a ludicrous idea.

It,s lovely to have a relative with you ,i,m glad i had my husband there for my show it,s quite a different thing when your in the chair to behind the boxes, you don,t feel alone in the wings but believe me it,s a pretty lonely feeling in the chair even though you have Noel close by to help calm your nerves.

Absolutely ludicrous proposition typical of those who want this to turn into even more of a gambling-crazy show than Noel makes it already.

Heck, even games where the intervention is costly - like Ken's - provides a talking point that wouldn't be there otherwise!

A great idea.

I've lost count ofthe number of games that have been ruined by overbearing relatives sticking their oar in a the critical moment. They should be banned out of the studio so the player can play their own game free from their nosey interference.

I honestly do not think relatives or friends should be banned from being in the audience and supporting the player...but.....I really do think they should be banned from giving advice, on so many occassions they have swayed the player in the wrong direction :(

Not sure - but like the Danielle example, it can give good results as well as bad. It just seems that the bad ones get remembered more.

Also it can work the other way too - I think Hannah may have dealt the £2,000 on her 10k/whatever blue it was finish, and her friend (it wasn't her boyfriend was it becuase she was having it with Steve?) influenced her to go on?

How could they possible enforce a ban on relatives giving advice? Tape their mouths shut?

If you are going to ban relatives (people who have known the contestant for years) - you'd need to ban the wings giving advice. Why should people who've only known the contestant for a week or two be allowed to give advice when their family isn't.

They can be in the audience but should definatly not be allowed to say anything that can influence the players decisions.

How dare people bring those that thay love on one of the biggest days of their lives. The audacity of these people.

Bring them, yes, I say, but then........ then if they dare speak..... kill them. Kill them real nice.

But only if they say "deal".
