It would be interesting if someone (KP?) did another "Deal-o-meter" thing. It's nearly a year since Power5 did the first one, and he was going to do another one but has since lost interest in the show.

I think it'd be quite interesting to do another one, as we still seem to largely have the same people posting in the "what would you have done today" thread, and it'd be interesting to compare how things have changed. I was looking through the thread a few days ago, and I was interested to see that some offers I'd have taken last summer, I'd now no deal. I think I'm reading the board more and am less of a targetist now. Probably a natural reaction to the run of targetists we've had on the show resulting in average shows!

I have since been a little more sensible still after the little gamble however.

I suspect I've had one of the biggest changes since the last Dealometer, given my tendency to ND now.

I was planning to do one and I'm still considering that. Hoping to do a more sophisticated one, that as well as a single figure for Wakeyistic/Mickeyistic tendencies (we can't call it 'Greenyistic' anymore! :D), produces more in-depth results that hint at a player's style. In particular, I've got an idea for a metric to determine how 'targetist' one is, but I'm still working on it.

You can't say clear-cut Wakey-ist because of the comedy deals! ;)

I must admit, my attitude has seen me take quite a few more gambles, but I am no defiant No Dealer.

I'd say I'm an analyst, but I tend to look at future offers more than generosity.

I'm probably closer to where James1978 is than to where KP is.

I was saying to Davey last night that I have you down as similar to Power5 - both of you are analytical players, very comfortable with four-figure No Deals but always looking for a Deal if the time is right.

I keep thinking I'm fairly cautious but most of the deals being made recently are ones I'd have no-dealt. That's why i understand people like basic getting annoyed with them. The only one I can think of recently I'd definitely have taken was Gary's, unsure about Michelle's, but definitely no-dealt Janna, Ronnie, Troy and Eunice's deals!
