Nothing happened in 2006.

It was mentioned in passing in 2007.

This year it's bound to be a week-long special set of shows in the same fashion as TRICK or TREAT and SANTA or SCROOGE.

It was mentioned in 2006; it was Susie's game and the Banker was pissed as he'd been drinking claret all day IIRC. He had a hangover in the next show.

In 2007 it was on a Saturday but on the Sunday the Banker said how PJ had sent him a birthday present, which was apparently the reason why he got to win of the viewers' boxes at the end.

All I know is that there is going to be a week of party-themed shows, with special guests and a special twist.

It's the Banker's birthday on Deal or No Deal and he has demanded a week of party-themed shows for the occasion. With fancy dress, special guests and a birthday twist to the game, the evil one is sure to be celebrating in style. - www.channel4sales.com

I assume this is when we see the return of the 1p players in the audience that has been mentioned quite a bit on the forum recently.

Hmm... This is lasting a whole week? Is it really necessary?

Probably not; but it was very well timed by them, I must say. They probably planned this quite a few weeks in advance of recording, and something with a "twist" is coming just at the right time after the period of dull games we had up until this week.

There is a huge leak on the UK Deal or No Deal site about it.
