Has anyone noticed the lack of (a broadcast of) a swap offer in the last two games?

Also, both involve the 1p as one of the last two!

Makes one wonder if the swap offer for both games ended up on the cutting floor.

Yes they have been absent but they don't always show the swap being offered. I don't think £100k Gaz's swap offer was broadcast, and there have been other examples too, so I don't think too much can be read into it. Also it's not too surprising it wasn't shown in yesterday's show, as the banker very rarely makes swap offers on blue final twos (or at least, they rarely get shown).

Don't think we were shown Chris being offered one either.

1p Adam never had a swap offer broadcast either which seemed really odd to me given what he won. I guess they wanted to edit in the bater he had with Noel regarding what the last offer was going to be.

I'd rather they kept it in if they offer a player a swap (if they are indeed editing them out). I know the Banker doesn't guarantee a swap, only with the £250,000 in play, but I always wonder if a player was offered it or the Banker just didn't bother.

Though i'm sure if you just ask, or at least hint, that you would like a swap then you will end up with one.

I remember in the game I watched live in February, the player actually asked if there would be a swap, and the banker phoned to say he wasn't going to offer one because "he might not live to hear the answer to it!" [because it had been a particular long game).

I suppose they cut that out because it didn't have quite the same effect on TV, as watching in the studio.

I guess they were edited out. I thought the swap was guaranteed when the 1p was in play.
