Clive just irritated me.

Can't comment as I didn't see Clive's game. If Clive does beat Lance, then it's obvious it really was unbelievably good.

That said, in the current wave of Wakeyism, a two-box Deal on a 'who gives a monkey's' final two will beat a five-box Deal (even at nearly the mean) almost every time.

Lance for me too. He was a great character - one of the original "big" characters and his show was hilarious, with an extremely good game and a slightly unexpected deal which provided a bit of a talking point. Clive's was good too but I don't think anything will ever beat Lance's for me, mainly because Lance was one of the original characters and I don't think he'll ever be replaced. He certainly didn't have any competition from Lance (2)!

If I remember rightly, didn't Lance win the favourite contestant of all time vote? I think he won the shows 1 - 300 heat and "Grim Reaper" Jean won the show 301 - 600 heat... then they went head-to-head and Lance won. So if he wins this too, he is surely the King of DOND!

Clive's game might have been more "funnier", but Lance's game was more enjoyable...gags every now and then not just at the phone calls, and of course a big money winner.

I remember hearing rumours that Lance won one of the Banker's Power 5... I think the main rumour was he won 50p, and then the rumour changed to 1p! Thank goodness it wasn't true, I think a lot of people here probably would've stopped watching if Lance had won a blue!

Interesting similarities here, both had comedy games, and both were the only characters in a lineup that consisted of 21 robots.

Lance is an easy win though!

Plus Lance's game was one of the rare times my hair was standing on end. Also one of the rare times when I properly laugh out loud.

Oh my god, people are voting for Lance? It's a deserved vote for Clive. He was hilarious, but I never laughed in Lance's game. That's not to say I disliked him or anything though, he was a great guy.

No contest, Farmer Clive all the way! I didn't find Lance amusing or interesting in anyway whatsoever.

I didn't see either of these, but a link to Lance's game was posted - and although it was a top-money win...I kinda found it a bit dull, really.

Clive's game. I remember watching Lance's game, but I don't remember much about it.

As it was more recent and fresher in my memory i'll go for Clive as I did really enjoy that game. It's just a shame it wasn't a bigger win.

As much as I thought Lance was great on the wings, his game left me feeling a bit cold for some reason (either that, or my central heating wasn't working that day...). So I'll vote for Clive.

Hmmm, by "Forum's Favourite SHOW" does that mean totally ignoring the actual game, or including the game as part of the show? If that makes sense...'cos if it's the latter then I don't see how Clive could possibly win, they were both great characters but if a dull player had had Clive's game it would have been one of the worst ever as the actual gameplay was crap; Lance had both the character and the amazing game.

Edit: Oh I just checked the original post and it does include the game. In that case it's an absolute travesty that Clive is winning!

I highlighted SHOW because I think some people focus only on the game... whereas I feel show combines everything - who the contestant is, what happens in the show, what the game's like etc. PJ's show is one of the most memorable although that was because of his game... Clive's is as well, more because of Clive than anything else, so I suppose "show" can include game and/or contestant and/or overall show. That's how I understand it anyway.

I was expecting Clive to possibly win on the basis that some of the members here may not have been watching when Lance's show was on, but I'm not sure that is the case, as it'd appear quite a few "older" (in terms of join date) members have voted for Clive.

Lance and Clive are my top 2 favourite shows of all time, so I'm not too fussed who wins personally.
