3rd round deals are rare, 1st or 2nd round deals have not occured. Would you like to see someone deal at the 1st or 2nd round offer?

Would it provide sufficient entertainment to see the contestant beat the banker having dealt that early?
Would it be sufficiently interesting to see the contestant realise they've made a horrible mistake as the offers shoot up and they find they could have won a Power 5 amount?
Could it help other players to gamble more in subsequent shows?

Vote now!

Wouldn't mind one but it's at least and a half years too late now...

I would like to see one or the other or both actually - it'd certainly be a talking point. Whilst witnessing early deals for poor offers can be very frustrating to watch, it certainly makes a show more memorable (as long as it doesn't happen too often!!). If Meena had dealt at 8-box or 5-box (or even 2-box), I'd probably have forgotten her show after a week or two. However due to her shocking deal, I'll probably always remember it.

I'd love to see a first round deal but I'm willing to bet it'll NEVER happen.

I'm sure it'll happen one of these days. I'd love to see a 1st or a 2nd offer deal as it's never happened before. I'd love to see the reaction of Noel, the other contestants and the pilgrims. The forum's reaction would be interesting, too.

I would like to see someone deal at the 1st or 2nd offer eventually. Just because it hasn't been done before and it would be a bit of shock for someone to actually do it.

However I doubt it will ever happen now with the 1st round offers barely getting above £10,000. It would also make no sense to deal at the 1st offer either, because you'll either get a low offer for a bad opening round which isn't worth considering, or you'll have a good opening round with a board that has so much potential. It would be interesting though if someone actually did deal their first offer and it turned out to be a OPW.

Also I remember Noel saying ages ago that they take your first answer. So say someone accidently said deal when they didn't mean to at the first offer (though I doubt anyone would make that mistake) would they make the player take the deal or, as I suspect, make them re-film it again.

I think they would re-film it again to be honest. What's interesting is that most people that have voted so far in here want to see a 1st or 2nd round deal. Perhaps we'll get someone doing it as a joke or an ultracautious contestant who has a low target, desperate for the cash!

I would love to see a really early deal just to see the reactions of Noel and the rest of the production team. It would be very interesting.

I don't think anyone would do it for a joke. Most joke deals come after trainwrecks. I don't think anyone would do a joke deal on a half decent board. I think it's likely to be someone who has an excellent start and gets offered something like £20k at the second offer.
