Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get the music used on DOND? Particularly the backing music used throughout the programme.

Thanks! :-D

This was posted on another thread here. It's the opening theme music.

Thanks! :-D

There is another link here for the main theme music.

http://www.jinglemad.com/modules.php?na ... rch&query=

Just type Deal or no deal into the site search engine.

What? No, of course I don't sit in front of the computer repeatedly doing the voice-over intro. :smt101

I would love to have the background music because the parody would be perfection then.

If you know anyone that a good musician, it wouldn't be too hard for them to recreate the background/incidental music. It's mainly just sustained notes on a synth and some easy sounding piano riffs. Getting a decent approximation of that shouldn't be too hard. (Assuming of course that you know a half-decent musician with time on their hands)

If you are worried about copyright, just do what the Simpsons does quite alot.
They take a well known song and alter it subtley so that while the music is still instantly recognizable, they have changed it just enough to give themselves a loop-hole.

I contacted Gus (the guy that makes the music to DOND) a few times now, and just today I have asked if he could send some mp3's of the incidental music (backing music) to me. If I get them, i'll ask him if I can share them around or not.

However I did contact him around January asking for them too, and he said he would send me them, unfortunatly he still hasnt, thus why I have e-mailed him back to remind him.

Also may I recomend a fantastic composer who has composed some of his own DOND music: www.timhalbert.com

It would be cool if the composer would agree to share. Your mates site looks good as well.

And welcome to the forum. :D

excellent :D

Apparently the 'lyrics' for the last few bars of the music are:

Here comes little Noely, bursting through your telly -
Look at little Noely go!

Try singing along today, quite catchy really!
