Does anyone know what is happeing New Year's Eve and Day on Deal or No Deal?

I went to the Dream Factory a couple of days after the NY shows had been recorded so I don't know many details. The contestants were talking about them a lot (in general) though and I gather the ladies got to wear fabulous ball gowns on NYE and there is a pretty awful song involved. One of the current lady contestants, who looks like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, described it as "$hit"

I was at the New Year's Eve show. It was great - guys were in tuxedos and girls in ball gowns. And really was a special show - not to be missed!!

The band and song was a bit odd - be interesting to see how it comes across on telly. The rest of the show will be absolutely great though!
