Something I've thought up after what happened today!

Q1 How much would Pip have won if he had been on his own?

Q2 What if Bob did indeed "find the pound" and Germaine ended up with a £35k/£50k v £250k finish and won £250k first?

Q3 What if Laura had won £45,000, or £3,000?

Q4 What if Third-Offer Deal Week had come the following week after, and not three months after Laura's win? Would we have still seen the Wakey Winter with insanely high offers?

I will post my thoughts ,but I would like to hear what you all think first :)

Feel free to add anything else you can think of :D

Oh I like this!!

1. £40,000 at five-box, or possibly the same £20,000 - Noel's behaviour would have been the deciding factor.

2. Depends what Noel does to a large extent - he wasn't that Wakeyist at this point but showed signs of potentially being one already, and this would have fired him up judging by his post-Laura behaviour. Probable run of gambling through 2006 into much of 2007, but it definitely wouldn't have lasted into 2008 because of the recession.

3. Bunney would have Wakeyed it to 'be the first' and won the £250k instead and the inevitable would have been delayed just three weeks.

4. Well, it should have happened that week, damnit - Don, Jasmine and Brian turned down insanely generous third offers (and Nicola a record £35k third offer). Would it have changed a thing? If Craig's self-inflicted trainwreck didn't I'm not quite sure what would. You'd probably have got joke/joke/joke to eight-box and then Wakeyism all the way...

Another "alternative" question could be what if 21k Don had no-dealt and only won 10k, or he been offered less than 20k? :)

I think he'd have dealt a 5 box offer of between £35,000 and £45,000.

One of two things. The first is we could have two quarter millionaires. The second is Laura could have been offered something sensible at the 2 box stage and dealt it.

By that stage, they were getting desperate for a jackpot winner. If I remember correctly, the £250,000 came to the table with alarming regularity in January 2007. One of the others would have won it, probably Bunney or Psychic Sarah.

Possibly. The offers would probably been lower to encourage gambling, or at least to get people past the third offer.

Q1. He wouldn't have been a quarter millionaire. Given a decent offer at 5-box, he would have dealt that.

Q3. There would have been a £250,000 winner at some point that January.

[I can't remember the other ones...games/time-scale i mean]

It'd be very strange if the mega winners swapped with the low winners. Imagine if £87k Lance had only won a blue, or if Barbara's swap had paid off and she'd got £100k... or even if PJ had won £75,000 after the banker's final offer of a SWAP only!

Different results of games could've had an influence on the games following. Would there have been such a feeling of positivity in early 2007 if someone hadn't won £250k? And conversely, would there have been the run of caution in late 2008 after so many games went wrong during the summer? :ponder:
