Matt from September 2006 had the highest opening offer of £20,000, and also the highest 2nd offer of £35,000 - only to end up with just £5,000 via a swap (giving away £50,000).

I think the lowest opening cash offer is probably Statsman(!) Ed in October 2007, receiving just 18p. Although the lowest offer over the course of a game is unlikely to be topped, with Adie (November 2008) receiving a 3rd round offer of minus £150!

I would so deal minus £150 just to see what would happen!

Yeah Wrighty's is the highest ever, though that was a £500,000 game, Matt's is the highest for a £250,000 game. I think. :P

That was over three years ago, wonder if it'll ever be beaten? No one ever takes the first offer anyway so there's nothing stopping the Banker from just randomly saying "Everyone takes £26,000, so have it already!" and watching the ensuing chaos!

No, of course not! A Statsman called Ed played, only he wasn't as good as me as he thought there was a 62% chance of taking out the top value at 5-box! :P (Although he did win 2p more because of that inaccuracy... )

You would have to pay The Banker £150.
