Sometimes when a player chooses a box, the contestant on the wings whose box it is, tries to influence them by predicting the amount they have in their box, or at least saying whether they think it's a high or low amount. I don't understand why any one does this, as surely if you get it wrong (which you very possibly will) and the player wins less because you have swayed their decision, you will feel quite bad about it. Isn't it just much safer to keep stumm and let the player make their own decision?

They at least shouldn't blurt it out loud.

I agree!!! I don't know what came over me and when ever I did blurt it out loud I wanted to take it back but then it was out there and there was no going back!!!!!

I just imagine I would feel awful if I said I thought I had a high red in my box, so the player didn't open my box, then went for another box that had a high red, then it turned out I had a low blue. Not that I am ever going to be on DOND, but I would definitely not speculate like that. I understand that players get feelings about their boxes, but how often do these feelings turn out to be correct in the scheme of things? Especially as every one has got to know each other, wouldn't you just feel horrendous?
