Have they ever done a whole week of specials before to celebrate the birthday? It seems strange they're having it so far after the actual birthday, but I suppose they wanted to have a few 'normal' weeks after Halloween, before plunging into another 'special' week.

Although I usually can't stand the themed weeks - I miss the old occasional one-off show, rather than killing it by having them in costumes and silly twists for six shows in a row - this looks well deserved and I'm looking forward to it. 5 years is a pretty big moment, glad they're making the most of it!

I guess it will be similar to the week they had leading up to the 1000th show.

I think they timed it so it fell about midway between Halloween week and the Xmas specials, good move! Maybe some people who were newbies at Halloween could still be there for 5th birthday week, and likewise for newbies in 5th birthday week playing at Xmas!
