I am feeling very nostalgic about DOND. You see it was 5 years ago this week that I made my way to Bristol to record my games.

Although they were shown between January and February 2007 I arrived in Bristol on November 13th 2006.

The first game I took part in was amazing as Laura won £250k, the first player to do so.

I know I only won a tenner but still the most amazing experience of my life.

Met lovely people who I still stay in touch with.

Still watch every show.

It is hard to believe that half a decade has passed since your game was recorded. As they say, time flies when you're having fun...

The blind man with the dog was, of course, Eric. Have you met him by any chance, or would you like to?

And I know this is a bit off-topic, but well done too on winning the Weakest Link back in '09. What was that experience like compared to DOND, and is it true that Anne actually isn't all that mean when the cameras aren't rolling?

Yes I did get to meet Eric a short while after his game. Can't remember if it was when I did the DVD Game or the 500th Show.

The Weakest Link was fun but not the same as DOND. Mainly as it was done in one day and I was even more nervous than I was at Deal.

Andrew, it may have been five years but I still think your 'era' of contestants was the greatest the show's ever had! Especially as it contained the first £250k winner
