have you noticed that longest running contestants always seem to be the ones with more character, i.e Raj, Lucy, Gary etc. It's almost as if endemol want to get rid of the more"boring" contestants just after they allowed them to come on the show, which just strikes me as.. well.. weird. :?

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Also, does it seem the the longer someone is on the show, the smaller their winnings?

Has there been any really long time player that's won more than 100 pounds?

Also most of the popular contestants are the ones to go away with the smaller sums of money

Not necessarily. Francesca, Maxine & Terri all had loads of character, and they were only there for about ten shows each.

John M aka Murray Walker was there for ages. Well into the 30s.

I shouldn't worry Terri was one of those players no one notices, cos there's nothing to notice.

Dave only did 32 shows too! SARAH, Raj and Karen are the second longest with 33 each.

this is about your sig[daniel4389] - since Nessie and Jo are gone maybe you could put your beloved Sarah back in the middle, for everyone to see?
you see, I am also a devout Sarah fan :-D :-D :smt023

To be honest, I was thinking of adding Amy and Bianca to the party, rather than getting rid of any! Wow, I'm so spoilt for choice at the moment...

[quote]I was thinking of adding Amy and Bianca to the party

but just think of what Sarah would say if she saw she was less important to you than another contestant...

She PMed me about it, and said she was "happy to share a banner with them". :-D

And she's not less important! She's still the best. Amy was threatening to usurp her when I thought she might have an Irish accent, but she doesn't, so it's all OK.

(I seem to be hijacking every thread with my talk of my numerous contestant obsessions. I'm very sorry. Please don't try to break the server again...)

Sarah & Raj cheated tho being ill for at least 3 shows each, so technically I did more than them. ;)
Raj even missed my show :(

Yeah, there does seem to have been a lot of sickness on this show - what's the hotel like????   There have been lots of contestants missing due to illness, whats the time you spend there as a contestant, Dave, in real time?? I know they film a few episodes each day, but for yourself, you did 32 shows, but what did that equate to in time spent away from home?

Hohoho Daniel, you thought you'd get away with slagging off my Dave but oh no.....

Don't worry, Dave, in my mind you were there for 34 and my mind is superior to those of all others on this forum :-D
