Obviously, the show has only had five Jackpot wins, all, coincidentally, by women in their early twenties. But there must be lots of men and women in their lates twenties onwards, who would've won the Jackpot had they been given another game.

So, are there any games where the Jackpot wasn't won where you'd have won it?

I'd have won it in Glenn's game, Sobia's game, £24k Paul's game, Pauline's game, and Gill's game, to name but a few. (I'd also have won it in Tegen's game had I not backed out at 5-box.)

What about you? (Sits back, and waits for the inevitable response from the Wakeyists and Selectivists [no offense intended])

Every game it's been in the players box... (or when it's in the other box, swap for either 5 or 20)

I would always go for it as long as it's still in play...(even possibly if I played for real)...

Of the actual £250,000 winners, definitely Laura, Suzanne and Tegen.

Of the many undersellers, there's a few. Katie Chipchase, Zara, Eddie and Kelsie to name some examples.

There aren't many for me, only Eddie springs to mind immediately as one where I'd have gone all the way (and then swapped it away!!), but that's mainly because I'd be more inclined to take a £120k+ Deal with a Power 5 kicker than many here!!

Would have won the £250k by swapping in Katherine's (?) game in the early days where she dealt at £45k with blue/20k/50k/100k/250k and then got a hypo £145k on the dream finish - not even I would take that for the record deal!!

I think, obviously from a statistical perspective, declining £145,000 is absolute madness.

BUT...

...I see the pure will to win £250,000 which can obstruct any rational, logical way of looking at the situation. After all, winning £250,000 is the ultimate objective of our game - not whether an offer is above the mean. Especially a hypothetical one - I question, would the Banker really have offered Mally £145,000? I doubt it.

I definately would've been a quarter-millionaire if i had the games of:

- £44k Glenn (It was an ALL-RED five box, with the top 3 still in play, that offer really was very poor for the board, i'd have wanted AT LEAST £60k-ish on a board like that, in fact, didn't all-red 8-box James get an offer of £65k on an almost identical board to Glenn's?)

- £24k Jenna (I'd usually want at least £35k-£40k on a board like hers, it was a weak deal, but i don't wanna be hard on Jenna as i thought she was quite lush! ;-))

- £250k Suzanne (She never truly got any offers worth considering until 4-box, and by that point, most people would've played on anyway due to the sheer strength of the board, i think they just wanted to avoid a repeat of Wilf and Michael's acts of excessive caution earlier in the week)

- £70k Eddie (£70k on a £20k/£250k, was pretty much a no-brainer of a no-deal for me because even if the final gamble had gone wrong, yeah it would've been disappointing to miss out on the £250k having given it a go, but i still would've left with some good money

- £70k Sobia - See Eddie

- £20k Pip (That is, if the banker REALLY would've offered £20k again on the final-5 with £35k, £75k and £250k above it! and i wouldn't have swapped either)

- £50k Andy (I've already said this, but even with the chance to double the winnings to £100k, the cake gimmick pretty much caused the banker to low-ball his offers)

- £8k Katie (People have had offers of £25k+ on boards like hers! Though i would've been very nervous about No-dealing £32,000)

- £29k Kelsie (For starters, I'd have got on that phone and told the banker where he could stuff his mind games ;-). Then again, there was Rachel from the first week of the show who dealt at £25k on the same board)

- £250k Tegen (The same story as Eddie and Sobia, Would've no-dealt at 2-box as it was a poor offer on a £250k/Good backup finish, As for the £33k at 5-box i probably would've been sucked in to playing on due to the four good reds on the board!)

*Oh, by the way, I meant £145,000 in Mally's case. Not Katherine's, goodness gracious no... :smt023

Mally was the first guy who had the £250,000... had it been all the way... 22 shows it would have taken... but over 7 years later...

That Richard is probably up there with me as well...(the award for one of the worst board readers goes to...)

Hard to say as I can't remember all the games off the top of my head but in the games hwere it was won:

Laura I'd have dealt £19,999 at 5-box
Alice I'd have dealt a round later than she did so maybe not got offered the BG
Suzanne I wouldn't have swapped so would have won "just" the £100k
Tegen - maybe, 5-box was bordering, wouldn't have dealt 2-box
Nong - no way on earth. Don't know for sure when I'd have dealt but there's no way I'd gamble £68k when it could have been a fiver in there.

Forgot Suzanne swapped. So £100,000 for that one.

Would have got the £19,999 out of Laura's game too. Alice I'm not sure at £17,500 though I'd probably turn it down now (and I may have declined £15k too quickly anyway, in fact I probably would); I'd take on the BG at £40k (and, given my propensity to swap, won the penny, so I'd rather have had a hypo-lie and a guilt trip!). Suzanne's the only one I might have emulated given that she swapped, and even then I may have taken the £165k (though at that point it'd have been less about the money and more about whether I could be talked out of being the biggest dealer ever with notions about how on earth someone could deal on that finish - I'd take it now that it's actually happened in live play :P). Tegen I'd probably have gone to the end. Nong, definitely not - I'd have gone at 5-box, and I'm not convinced she should even have got that far in live play!

For the five Jackpot wins:
Laura: probably would've gone at 5-box, final offer poor but the drop to £3k would've made me think.
Alice: £30,000 at 5-box; wouldn't have taken the Gamble had it been offered (I don't do BGs).
Suzanne: Same as her, only without the swap, so just £100,000.
Tegen: Either 5-box deal or all the way.
Nong: Most likely a deal at 5-box, but no further than 2-box.

So Laura's and Tegen's, possibly.

Wonder what the reaction would've been if Suzanne had swapped away the £250,000. :ponder:

Laura - £19,999 at 5-box or £250,000 in the box. £45,000 at 2-box was an utter joke.
Alice - Probably £30,000 and No Deal to the BG if offered.
Suzanne - £100,000 from the box since I wouldn't have swapped.
Tegen - All the way to £250,000 in the box. £77,000 was a crap offer with £20,000 as a back up.
Nong - £68,000 at 2-box. I couldn't do what she did.
