So, we all know that Box 23 has hardly been risked on a red win, and the only meaningful red risked on it was based on hilarious cynicism that did not get proven wrong.

The bonus box needs beefing up. But it's not easy to change it, especially if you're going to keep HALF and NOTHING (and I think you should). Here's my idea.

Add a sixth option, "BONUS," to the current five. "BONUS" counts for either £5,000 or a 50% increase, whichever is better. So, a £3k win would be increased to £8k (50% would take it to £4,500), but a £20k win would be increased to £30k.

This changes the balance of the box, makes it EV+ for all wins (EV on a QM win is £251,666.67), and creates what I think 23 ought to have done - a meaningful extra decision for players after quiet games with four-figure wins.

Similar to how I thought they could change +£10,000 to +£10,000 or +50%

But it has the same problem: too long winded and complicated.

As much as I like NOTHING being there I think it probably has to go if they actually want people to use the thing. Maybe replace it with 10% or 25% of winnings.
