What did the banker sound like? Was the bankers voice ever properly heard I've been watching old episodes of DOND and wondering this It's a mystery. I know it was Glenn Hugill was it just his voice but some people said it was a creepy voice

Yeah, I'm sure there were plenty of times when his 'voice' was heard through the phone! But I don't think he developed the 'voice' voice until some time halfway through the first season - if you watch Leigh's game (21 November 2005) on YouTube and listen carefully while Noel is talking to him, you'll clearly hear him say something (I forget what - 'had a good round' or something like that) in a normal voice. So I think at first he used his normal accent, but later took on a different one to match the miserly character of The Banker... :P

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.
