I have decided its time we got a true DOND UK Flash game instead of the americans so i am working on the game. I will update you here and give you screenshots throughout its development and you can give me ideas on how to make the game.

Well i need help with actionscript.

Last time I heard the word actionscript I had to start my rubbishy little flash game all over again, since I messed it up and didn't have a backup copy

I don't know much about computers at all beyond basic HTML (and some very basic CSS when I've been tweaking about with Firefox) so I doubt I'll be able to help in any way, but I wish you the best of luck with the project, Dudeflame. It'll be great to see it when it's done. I'm up for some early beta testing though!

Oh yes! I love Firefox and I've been using it for a while now. What posessed me to look at IE7 I can't honestly tell you; I just like trying new things, I think. I never even use IE6! I use Firefox as the main browser and Opera as a backup browser. I use AOL's browser for Microsoft updates and I don't use IE6 at all. I'm a bit of a browser geek!

If MSN Messenger opened my email inbox in my default browser when I click it, I would be using firefox constantly.

But it opens in IE and I can't be bothered to sign in manually in firefox

lol, I'm from America so I don't know about the contestants that much. I have seen several episodes, so I know the general feel of the set. My goal is to make the entire set, and you basically just choose a box. Yes, this means the screen will be really wide. Probably around 1000 pixels wide. I'm working on getting the money board to work properly first, then I'll worry about getting the boxes, then the Banker, and finally the different set animations. I'm going for as accurate as I can here. It'll be a few weeks before this is done, just to warn you.

All the games mentioned here sound good, the more accurate the better. Hope they turn out well.

Well im trying to get my games graphics as close to the shows without breaking copyright to prevent a Cease and Desist order from endemol.

That's not an issue. Using screenshots, that can be an issue. Trust me, I have basically the entire set looking somewhat like the show and I didn't copy a thing from them. Everything was drawn by hand.

I agree with the above post, designing it independently of any copyrighted images should be fine, otherwise we wouldn't see any flash games
