MY LATE MOTHER'S CRUCIFIX

The news that British Airway's have banned an employee from wearing a crucifix at work signals for me the end of the hopes and dreams of my mother's generation and the start of a nightmare for ours. She could never have imagined that freedom could have been used to create a world where fear of other people's religions could be given the right to make us hide our own. I hope in the future that the crucifix is not totally banned in the UK.

I agree, if people want to express their beliefs by wearing a turban, a veil, a crucifix or whatever, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, they should have that right. BA need to grow up. Live and let live.
