It's the turn of the women to play in the battle of the sexes, and it's Annie's game today...

Noel says the sight of the wings is fabulous! He reminds us how the first stage of the battle of the sexes has finished and explains how the banker came up with the idea.

Annie takes her place in the crazy chair with box 11...

Annie says she is surprised at being chosen! :-D

She is from Southampton and she has a photo of her older brother - who looks like Noel!! She also shows a photo of their dalmation with her husband David and she has a cuddly dalmation called Dudley (also Noel's father's name)! :-D

She has a tatty piece of paper which has 22 numbers on which she'll dip into when she wants. She's not supersitious... but she has her aunty June in the audience, who is also her godmother, and they had an experience (but she won't say what and refuses to give any clues! ) that happened at 11:11!

Here we go, after Noel does the routine standard house keeping...

The banker agrees with Annie that it looks like a sweet shop!! He has a poem for every single lady... Annie smells it and asks if that's the smell of his breath!

The poem says how the banker wants a woman but that it doesn't have to be serious - he just wants a fling and that he's sexy cos he's filthy stinking rich!!  He says he's worried as the women have always beaten him!!! :P

The banker says Annie has had a terrible start, Annie agrees that it's not a good one...

Whee, fellow Southampton person!

If I'd known about her I'd have offered statistical advice...

Dismissing a £100k opening-round hit is a possible hint that she's going to take some substantial uncalculated risks here.

A pleasingly summer-2006 opener, and we'll see where the offers go from here!

7 - sparkling cider / Zahida  - £75k

Noel suggests she looks at her list of lucky numbers carefully

14 - £500 - Noel says it's good and that he senses we're on our way now...

Noel takes the tea order from June and Annie wants water - he tells us to pop off and have a drink and calls a break, and tells us to come back...

And at the break, the best I can say about the board is that it resembles that of Morris.

Difference being Morris's game was meant to be a Saturday night spectacular.
