Jess' game today.

Noel says we occasionally get games with massive contrast between the beginning and the end. He says Nenad's game began dour, but was very emotional at the end. We get a replay of him dealing £75,000, and then hypo-swapping the £250,000 to the table!

Jess has Box 17.

Jess Pike, aka 'Stupid Boy' (Dad's Army reference! :D :smt023 ), a CCTV operator, and TA combat medic. She has always been an outdoors person, and has a degree in various outdoor activities, which Noel does not believe at first! She has a photo of herself in army attire, another of her with her partner, who cannot make it, and a third of her parents. Her father Rob is in the audience.

Here we go...

Round 1

No plans or strategy, which Noel finds odd as Jess is an army girl!

Box 22 with Doreen - £100,000 :?

Box 16 with Mana - £250

Jess says she's never known what Noel is there for! He, of course, does not take this well!

Box 6 with John - £750

Box 1 with Sean - £35,000 :?

That's disappointing, says Noel.

Box 4 with Rosie - £50

Banker time...

We're back...

Round 2

Box 3 with Chantal - £15,000

Some banter about Jess' CCTV work, and how she is unable to say anything she saw due to confidentiality rules!

Some more weird banter with Harry next, which somehow ends up as a discussion about Postman Pat!

Box 18 with Harry - £10

Box 12 with Indira - £250,000 :(

Banker time...

Jess says that's still a good offer. She says she and her partner are trying to get a house, and are looking at one that needs a lot of repair work.

Jess says:

NO DEAL

Banker's Power 5 still intact means I wouldn't be celebrating £100.

We're back...

Noel says, during the break, he tried chatting to a pilgrim, who began laughing at his shoes! He also reveals Jess plays ladies rugby, and once hurt her shoulder whilst doing so!

Final box before the Banker...

Box 11 with Kim - £5,000

Banker time...

The Banker says Jess is very feisty, and it's time to stop messing about.

£4,000

Jess thinks a stair-lift would cost quite a lot. She says it's a lot of money, and it's serious now. £4,000 would get her grandmother a stair-lift. Her father says there's still quite a lot of money on the board; it's down to her, but he'd probably risk it. Jess wants to risk it; she is nervous, but not scared of a challenge.

Jess says:

NO DEAL

Round 4

Box 9 with Alicia - £5

Box 19 with Michael - £20,000 :?

Shame to lose that one, says Noel.

Box 7 with Russ - £50,000  :?

Banker time...

And now you have a one-box game at 8-box, says Noel. That's a tricky board, says Jess. The Banker agrees.

Banker's offer:

£1,700

She can't read the board. £1,700 is VERY POOR!
